Flying For Freedom create opportunities for wounded, injured and sick veterans to take part in post-recovery flying activities. Through Microlight flying training, they support veterans with their recovery and rehabilitation.
Microlights are open cockpit ‘weight shift’ aircraft and are one of the easiest and cheapest ways to fly. Training provides air experience at its most basic; pilots are close to nature and exposed to the elements, making for an exhilarating and adrenaline filled adventure.
To mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force, Flying For Freedom are flying to 100 current or former RAF airfields in 100 days.
As part of this expedition the FFF Team will be offering free air experience flights to wounded, injured and sick personnel.
